What is this
The zooprophylactic institute organizes a day of study and analysis entitled "Innovation and prevention in veterinary public health", dedicated to sharing experiences, good practices and future prospects in the field of animal health, food safety and environmental sustainability.
The initiative arises from the awareness that veterinary public health is today a crucial area for ensuring well-being, development and protection of the collective interest. During the event, key topics will be addressed such as the management of health emergencies, the control of zoonoses, antimicrobial resistance, environmental surveillance and the role of applied research.
Through scientific interventions, round tables and testimonies from the territory, the transversal contribution that zooprophylactic institutes offer to the community will be enhanced, thanks to multidisciplinary skills and daily activities of prevention, analysis and support to health authorities.
