On 8 April 2024, the new Board of Directors of the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Puglia and Basilicata took office, appointed by Inter-Presidential Decree signed by the Presidents of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, and the Basilicata Region, Vito Bardi. During the first meeting, the Board of Directors appointed Professor Gabriella Elia (nominated by the Puglia region) as President and Dr. Mario Romano (nominated by the Basilicata region) and Dr. Francesco D’Emilio (nominated by the Ministry of Health) as members. Satisfaction for the installation of the new Board of Directors, “which will accompany us with commitment and competence in the new challenges that await us to continue to guarantee the health of animals and humans” declared the General Manager, Dr. Antonio Fasanella. The Strategic Management and all the staff of the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of Puglia and Basilicata wish the entire Board of Directors good luck in their work.
